Since the implementation of the Biocidal Products Directive, EBRC was responsible for the notification (including the compilation, submission and defence of comprehensive IUCLID data sets) of more than 25 active biocidal substances. EBRC is now actively involved in the preparation of full dossiers including environmental, occupational and consumer risk assessments. The range of active substances that EBRC has notified covers almost the entire range of 23 product types as defined in the BPD directive.
EBRC has been entrusted with the preparation of a large number of dossiers in support of existing substances from all four priority list, such as:
Critical, board-certified toxicological expertise is available for the validation and interpretation of animal studies, including study monitoring and co-ordination of complete toxicological data packages. EBRC’s staff further encompasses a wide range of specialists, including agricultural and horticultural scientists and engineers, biologists, biochemists, biometricians and IT specialists.
