Since the implementation of the Biocidal Products Directive, EBRC was responsible for the notification (including the compilation, submission and defence of comprehensive IUCLID data sets) of more than 25 active biocidal substances. EBRC is now actively involved in the preparation of full dossiers including environmental, occupational and consumer risk assessments. The range of products that EBRC has notified extends over almost the entire range of 23 product types that are listed in the BPD directive.
