Concerning agrochemicals, EBRC has been and continues to be involved in now more than two dozen compounds under review for inclusion in Annex I of the EU Directive on active substances contained in plant protection products (91/414/EC), involving compilation of full dossiers on physico-chemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological properties, and including risk assessments for consumers, operators and non-target organisms.
